It was a huge shock to many when the Liberal Democrat council put the Hersham Centre site into the Local Plan with a view to have 200 high-rise units crammed in. As expected, this was then followed by a planning application from a developer.
We've made some progress to get the developer to listen to local residents' concerns and for them to take these on board, with the final application due imminently.
