Great news for local football clubs: £7,731 government investment in Esher FC, Claygate Royals FC and Molesey Juniors FC.
The Department for Culture, Media and Sport is contributing a total of £7,731 for new goalposts at Esher FC, Claygate Royals FC and Molesey Juniors FC as part of the Government’s ‘Get Active Strategy’. This strategy aims to help people of all ages access high-quality sports facilities to stay active and healthy, both mentally and physically.
This builds on historic investment in grassroots sport. Since 2021, the Conservative Government has helped deliver new facilities or improvements at almost 2,400 sites across the UK, helping to get more than 120,000 people active.
