Today is Small Business Saturday, a campaign encouraging consumers to shop local and support small businesses in our communities.
Across our towns and villages, we have some fantastic small businesses. It was awesome to go down to The Walton Village and lots of other local shops for Small Business Saturday and learn (finally!) how to pull a pint. Please do all you can to support our pubs, high street and independent shops this Christmas.
Ahead of Small Business Saturday, I met with Small Business Minister, Kevin Hollinrake, to discuss what more support the government can give our local high streets on top what was in the Autumn Statement. You can watch here.
Locally to save our high streets in Elmbridge, Conservatives would bring back short stay free parking after the Liberal Democrats removed it. Let me know your thoughts on how we can save our high streets here.
