Thank you to Diana Thornton, co-founder of Oxshott Net Zero, for hosting an interesting discussion with Green Elmbridge about ‘Take the Jump’ challenge at Walton Riverhouse Barn on Sunday. I've made the jump to an electric car and installed solar panels, but it was good to talk through other ideas. I also think the government should continue it's huge investment in clean energy (especially nuclear and offshore wind) so the UK stays a world leader in cheap and low emission energy.
Some of the suggestions included:
- more recycling
- longer lasting products
- less food waste
