Help us protect Molesey Hurst Rec

We’re campaigning to protect Molesey Hurst Recreation Ground from being concreted over.

Elmbridge Borough Council, run by a close partnership of Liberal Democrats, the Molesey Residents’ Association, and others, has drawn up plans to build up to 120 new properties on our Rec. They claim taking money from developers is the only way to end the neglect of Hurst Pool. That's simply not true.

Many of us regularly use the Rec, take our children there, and would like to keep it safe for future generations. But we need your help to save it.

I think we need to send a clear message and ask the Council to rule out this plan.

I would be grateful if you could take a few minutes to complete our survey - you’re helping make sure we’re fighting for the things that matter most to you.

Conservatives are already making progress, getting local roads fixed like Walton Road, there are now more police than ever before, and Conservative Cllr Steve Bax recently secured new safety equipment to make the Thames safer after a recent tragedy. But there’s still much more to do. So please fill in our survey, and together let’s make our area an even better place to live.
