I first met Gavin at the Thames Ditton Farmers Market where I picked up a bottle of Thames Ditton Gin – a fantastic local business started by six friends in the heart of Thames Ditton. The gin botanicals celebrate our local area as they echo both the history of the medieval herb garden at Hampton Court Palace and the marshland of Thames Ditton.
I am so pleased that I was able to get Thames Ditton Gin recognised nationally and invited to No 10 to celebrate locally sourced food and drink with the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs and other ministers.
